Alastair Band is Manager of the Global Community & Events Management Program at Sweetbridge, a blockchain-based economic framework that transforms supply chain and logistics collaboration through a fast, fair and flexible value exchange that unleashes working capital for the benefit of all participants.
Alastair was an early(ish) adopter of cryptocurrency and has been heavily involved in the space for the past year and a half.
He set up one of the fastest growing Meetup groups globally, London Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Beginners, in August 2017 and it was through that he met Sweetbridge founder Scott Nelson and was hooked on Scott's vision and the far reaching potential of Sweetbridge.
Alastair joined full time in January of this year to help them build their communities and assist in the running of their events program globally.
